In addition to cash, debit and credit card, at our store you can make use of various cashless payment methods. Mobile payment is a new electronic payment solution that makes it possible to pay by smartphone. You need a mobile device and the mobile payment provider’s app to do this. A symbol at Alsterhaus cash desks will tell you whether you can make a contactless payment there. You can pay at our store using the following mobile payment applications.

Mobile Payment at Alsterhaus

Alipay

Alipay is one of the world’s most widely used online payment systems. The Chinese application is a pioneer in new payment transactions and, in addition to mobile payment, you can also use it to manage your finances, take out insurance, call a taxi or even order at a restaurant. A QR code generated by the app lets you make a mobile payment with Alipay at an Alsterhaus cash desk. The application is available for Android, iOS and Windows Phone. One condition: at present, you need a Chinese bank account for Alipay.

Apple Pay

Apple Pay has been available in Germany since the end of 2018. Alsterhaus’ mobile payment service makes it possible to pay quickly by mobile. The “Wallet” app is pre-installed on Apple devices. You can store your credit or debit cards in the payment system and use them to make a cashless payment at the cash desks in our department store. All you need to do is unlock your smartphone and hold it up to the terminal.

Google Pay

Google Pay allows customers with Android devices to make contactless payments. The mobile payment app stores all the necessary information to be able to pay in seconds with your smartphone. This mobile payment method also involves holding up your mobile phone to the terminal. You can see an overview of your most recent purchases in the app.

WeChat Pay

We offer WeChat Pay for our Chinese customers. WeChat is China’s most popular messenger service for smartphones. But that’s not all: almost one billion people also use the WeChat Pay app as a payment service. This makes WeChat Pay the world’s leading mobile payment system right now.
