Gift Vouchers
You can purchase gift vouchers at our Service Center on the LG. The voucher can be paid for by credit card and Alsterhaus is able to send it for you anywhere in Germany. This voucher can also be redeemed at other branches of Karstadt, at the KaDeWe and also the Oberpollinger Store.

Book Ordering Service
We can place orders for any books you may require, such as bestsellers, novels, non-fiction, discourses on society, politics, business, culture and sport as well as specialist publications and city guides on Hamburg, plus audio books.

Made-to-measure clothing is available at the Alsterhaus.
We create exclusive, beautifully cut suits for men and women. You just choose the cloth and decide the detail. And we've chosen SCABAL material especially for you - a special collection of world-renowned fabrics.

We have selected for you the finest cloth from Scabal and Armani – exclusive fabric collections of world renown. Global Refund - Tax Free
Clients who live outside the EU and wish to take their goods back to their country of residence can take advantage of our Tax Free Service. At our Customer Services Centre on LG you can obtain a Global Refund Cheque for items purchased at our Alsterhaus Store.
Should you leave your last EU country within 3 months, plus the month of purchase, you must show the items and your passport when you go through customs. Your Global Blue Cheque will be then stamped. You can then claim back, from the Global Refund paying out office, the tax you have paid, less administrative costs, and have that amount credited to your credit card.
